Abstract Submissions
You are invited to submit an abstract to participate in the 11th Aquatic Animal Models of Human Disease Conference scheduled for October 5-9, 2024 at the Marriot River Walk Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. Abstracts of interest to scientists utilizing aquatic models for the study of human disease are encouraged. In addition to platform presentations, two poster sessions with evening receptions will be held. Please specify whether you are submitting for a platform presentation or a poster presentation. Abstracts for the poster presentation will be accepted until Friday, August 09, 2024. To be considered for a platform presentation, abstracts must be received by Friday, June 07, 2024.
Abstract Format
Please submit an abstract summarizing experimental studies including the rationale of the study, an abbreviated description of the experimental procedure, the results and conclusions. Please do not include tables, figures or diagrams with your abstract.
Poster Format
Posters will be presented during an evening reception and displayed for the remainder of the conference. Posters should be no larger than 36 inches high by 48 inches wide. All supplies to hang posters will be provided at the conference during registration along with additional specifics regarding poster set-up times.
